Nankin-Mills Interpretive Center is an old gristmill that was once owned by Henry Ford. In July of 2001 Derse Exhibits of Grand Rapids contacted me to design all the graphics for this project. Working from engineering drawings for size and location as well as research from Nankin’s naturalist, I was able to create some of my best work for this project. Nankin is divided into “eras” of the area’s history.
Starting out in the ice age, through the Native American Indians, the Gristmill Era and finishes with Henry Ford’s Village Industry. Due to time constraints I was unable to complete the Henry Ford room. Please click the links below to view each era.
